MBM360 builds and manages your MBM360 Association Portal — the private operational environment your board and staff log into — and owns the execution of the department function you select. Whether that is running your renewal campaigns, managing CE from registration through certificate delivery, producing your monthly communications, or coordinating your advocacy responses, MBM360 owns the function inside your portal. You define the outcomes. We run the department. Every deliverable is documented as institutional infrastructure, not personal work product.
Why is Governance OS included rather than sold separately?
Because a managed department without institutional infrastructure produces work that lives in the vendor, not in the association. When MBM360 runs your events and CE, the workflow architecture, automation logic, and operational standards belong to your association — not to our team. Governance OS is what makes the department work permanent. Separating it would undermine the entire value of the partnership.
How do we decide which department to start with?
The Governance Assessment conversation surfaces this. We ask one question: which operational function is consuming the most staff or volunteer time right now? That answer is the starting department. The most common starting points are Events & CE, Membership & Engagement, and Communications — but the right answer is the one closest to breaking in your specific association.
Can we add departments after the first year?
Yes. Departments are added at renewal. Governance OS and ACS do not reprice — they are fixed inclusions in every partnership regardless of department count. Each additional department adds $5,000 to the annual partnership investment.
What is the difference between ACS self-serve and the partnership?
ACS gives your leadership team access to the governance knowledge library — frameworks, tools, and protocols your board and staff use to understand what “good” looks like for associations at your size and in your sector. The partnership adds the execution layer: MBM360 actually runs the operational function, not just supplies the standard for running it. ACS tells you how. The partnership does it.
Is this a contract? What happens at renewal?
Annual billing. No multi-year lock-in. At renewal, you can add departments, remove departments, or continue as-is. The partnership renews annually. The institutional infrastructure and ACS library remain with your association — the governance standards you have built do not reset when you renew or change the department mix.
